Well, the School holidays are here. day 2 of week 1 and already I have heard an "I'm Bored" comment. granted they had just spent some quiet time at their Nan's and i dare say in kids standards it wouldn't of been the most stimulating of mornings. Add to this the child in question is happiest when sitting in front of a computer and I wouldn't let him take his with him this visit.
Today though the oldest is going up to Perth with his friends to go check out a couple of music stores. Its the first time I have said yes to him going up there alone. At 15 almost 16 he is growing up far too quickly for my liking. He wants to look at prices for a Ukulele. He loves all music instruments but especially the stringed kind. I should be grateful he hasn't started harassing us for a cello yet shouldn't I!
Youngest is hanging out for me to go get his xbox live recharge so I guess I wont see him for the rest of the day either. He will be happy and a clam killing an enemy or racing through a race track somewhere in the world.
Perhaps I should go get that bedroom of mine de-cluttered once and for all. at least then I will have accomplished something. I may even see the colour of my carpet in there too or is that getting too radical do you think!
